Senior AI Engineer

Job description

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning systems at scale. You’ll work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to translate complex business problems into robust AI solutions that are reliable, explainable, and performant.

This role spans the full ML lifecycle—from data modeling and algorithm selection to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement—while contributing to system architecture and long-term technical strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models in production environments

• Build scalable ML pipelines, APIs, and microservices for real-time and batch use cases

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals

• Implement MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines

• Optimize model performance through experimentation, evaluation, and tuning

• Contribute to system architecture, reliability, and scalability discussions

• Ensure responsible AI practices including interpretability, fairness, and compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field (PhD preferred)

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying ML models in production

• Hands-on experience with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn

• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and probability theory

• Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Familiarity with MLOps, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
