Technical Manager - Oracle CPQ

Job description

We’re looking for a Technical Manager – Oracle CPQ to lead the design, development, and delivery of complex CPQ implementations for enterprise customers. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership, ensuring scalable, high-quality CPQ solutions aligned with business goals.

You’ll work closely with clients, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust Oracle CPQ architectures while mentoring teams and driving best practices across the CPQ practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions

• Provide architectural guidance across configuration, pricing, commerce, workflows, and integrations

• Review solution designs, technical architecture, and code for quality and scalability

• Manage end-to-end delivery of CPQ projects including planning, estimation, and execution

• Coordinate with Sales, SCM, CRM, Integration, and QA teams for successful delivery

• Track project risks, dependencies, and timelines while maintaining stakeholder communication

• Mentor and manage Oracle CPQ developers and configurators

• Act as the technical point of contact during client implementations and discussions

• Oversee integrations with Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, ERP, and other enterprise platforms

Qualifications:

• 8–12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years specializing in Oracle CPQ

• Strong expertise in CPQ Configuration, Commerce, Pricing, BMQL, BML, and Workflows

• Experience designing BOMs, product models, and complex configurations

• Hands-on experience with CPQ UI customization using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with Document Designer, approval workflows, and attribute modeling

• Proven experience integrating CPQ with ERP and CRM platforms

• Strong background in leading technical teams and large-scale CPQ implementations
